Ok it has been a very busy week for us with the change of hosting but as you will see we have still managed to increase traffic, links and authority in Technorati.

Below are the stats for the site and you will see that we have grown by one unique vistor a day and that we are still maintaining more than a 30% returning visitor rate

You are probably saying to yourself right now, “Big Deal” this isn’t a lot of traffic and your right but you also need to remember that this site is only 3 weeks old it has had all of its previous content removed so that in itself have affected the listing for this site.

Our Technorati ranking is also growing it is up from an Authority of 79 to 81 in a week which isn’t bad that means that other blogs not Html websites but blogs are picking up our content and linking to our site giving us one way links which if you don’t know are only links that really have a great value now.

Over the next week I will be reviewing and showing you some of the tools we use to get indexed and how we slowing strengthen this site for long term gains in the search engines. You will also notice that we currently don’t have any adsense or any full on affiliate links from the site. We will start adding these as the site gains more momentum and actually gets a PR value from Google.

We have also managed to have more pages indexed into Google in only one week we have added two more static pages to the site and one blog post.

In the previous week we only had 46 pages indexed into Google now it has grown to 54 this alone shows how effective it is to be using Semiologic Pro as your preferred site design.

We have just started a campaign on Affiliate X Files to generate traffic to the site. We have been asked on many occasions to tell people exactly what we do to rank highly in the organic search engines. So here it is.

Firstly so there is no confusion the Affiliate X Files site has been registered for twelve months and was used initially to market an affiliate product. However the webmaster had let the site go and it had lost all of its rankings. So the first thing we had to decide was which market did we want to use this site for and I think it is pretty obvious with a name like affiliatexfiles.net. Yep you guessed it Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a huge and very competitive niche to enter into but we also thought that it would be an excellent choice when teaching you how to get quality traffic to your website. If you can get quality traffic in this niche then you can do it in any market  you wish to.

We decided that we would like the site to be interactive so the decision was made to use Semiologic Pro, this is wordpress blog on steroids if you would like to know more just follow the link.

Here are the stats for the first month and you will see that we currently have an average of 9 unique visitors a day and a returning visitor rate of 30% this is very important for the stickiness of the site and the search engines.

As you can see it has only taken seven days to get this site back into the search engines and we only had to use some very simple tools to do it…

The first tool in our arsenal is called Need An Article and it is probably the most powerful. You see the key to everything online is getting your visitors to return to your site and as you can see we have a 30% hit rate and 26% of our visitors are staying on the site for 5 minutes or more. Again we don’t have a lot of time to be writting articles for websites so we give it to the professionals to handle and it is extremely high quality content and very affordable.

The second tool is just as powerful Unique Article Wizard and works hand in hand with Need An Article I can’t go into much detail about this but if you are looking to get 100′s of one links to your site this is the way to do it. Below I have attached a screen shot of the technorati authority for this site and it has only taken a month to get that all with Unique Article Wizard.

Now for the final tool that I have found very effective is 3 Way Links this is very powerful and is a system that is totally automated and supplies you with 3 way links that are maintained and updated constantly. No more having to check whether your links are active on partner sites it is all done for you. Leaving time for the important things making money.

So where are we ranked currently in this one month period how many pages are indexed in Google®

And for Yahoo® we also have a very good showing in the early stages…

With MSN or Live Search  we only had our index page showing as indexed.

Lastly the links to these third party sites are affiliate links which yes we will make money if you buy through them, it does not cost you any more money and it is the most practical way for us to keep this site alive without having membership fees. If you don’t believe in affiliate links then maybe you are in the wrong business.
