During the week we had to move servers from the initial server that Affiliate X Files was hosted on due to some issues with scripting and sub standard features and we moved the site to Hostgator. We thought intially that this would really affect the statistics but due to the very professional standards of Hostgator we had very little down time and no problems transferring the site to them. Which just so you know Hostgator did this for us free of charge an within about 2 hours the whole process was complete.
So Affiliate X Files now has its own dedicated name server and is on a better performing server.
This going to be a very quick update and just to give you a look at the stats to date. In our previous post you will see that we only had 9 unique visitors a day that has now grown to 12 unique visitors a day. We have increased traffic by 90 visits a month. Our Alexa ranking suffered slightly due to a short downtime period. You will also see that our returning visits are still above 30%.
In the next couple of days I will be outlining what we use to rank our sites and how you can use the many free tools we use to get your pages indexed faster. There are no black hat tactics just quality content and pure SEO.
