Building Your Online Business Week 3

Sorry about posting this late but we were caught up with a few projects that couldn't wait.

Anyway it is week three for Affiliate X Files and we had a slight drop in traffic due to the server change but it bounced back after a few days to nearly double. So what have we done to keep growing traffic to this site this week we have made a couple of posts about pending clickbank releases and also published two articles to the article directories. So here are our stats for the week.

You can see by the stats that for the week we have increased our traffic by two visitors a day and that we are still maintaining a 30% return visitor rate that's even with the site being moved you can see that the traffic has spiked from the 28th onwards. Our ranking at Technorati hasn't changed from last week but we expect a boost once our articles are in circulation across the web.

We have also noticed a big jump in sites linking in. This has gone from around 367 sites linking to us to 500 plus in a week. Again this is accredited to articles and other blogs linking to Affiliate X Files. Hopefully I will get some more time this week to do a complete overview of all the tools and techniques we are using to rank this site.

The stats for Google links has grown from 54 to 62 in a week

And Our Yahoo Link Stats are growing even faster now with 163 links in week one to 211 in week three

We will be concentrating on getting our optin setup through Aweber this week and our extensive affiliate training series completed so that we can go live by next week. All in all I think so far you can see what affect quality content has and the power of submitting articles to the directories plus using the Semiologic Pro package
